Unusual Vegas Trip

My mom refused my offer to help her at work so I spent most of the morning reading the feeds. I think I got to all of them.

Anyhoo. So why do I call this the Unusual Vegas Trip? Well, here's why:
I didn't get to walk the strip
I wake up around 6am everyday (because of the dogs)
Sleeping early. I think the latest was probably 11pm.
I didn't see any shows
I didn't gamble
I was up and walking the dogs at 7am on Sunday

So what did I end up doing? Dog-sitting 6 dogs!!! (2 of uncle's dogs, 3 of my aunt's, and 1 of our own)

Two of my other cousins were supposed to meet us there, but last minute they backed out so instead of staying at the hotel with them, I was stuck sharing the room with my grandma, my aunt and her 3 dogs and my dog. It wasn't too bad I guess, but just not how I wanted the vacation to be. My mom got away with it and stayed at the hotel and got to go bowling at night too.

But the good thing was there was plenty of good food! And I spent some good time swimming in my uncle's pool. I enjoyed swimming very much. Except on the last day, I probably over did myself because I was sore and aching all over by night time.

OH! And on our drive there, we started driving to Vegas a little past midnight so I got to see the sunrise on the road! (You may recall that I've always wanted to see the sunrise). Here are pictures of the sunrise and sunset from the same day (Sept. 25)

I also got to feed my uncle's pet turtle. The turtle is quite socialable; it would come up to you. Of course, I kept my fingers to myself.

Another highlight was the lunch at the top of the Stratosphere Tower. It was awesome looking out to Vegas. Needless to say, I snapped plenty of pictures at the top.

Would you ride the roller coaster(s) at the top of the Stratosphere Tower? I was watching with much nervous-ness and found myself starting to tear. yea I know, I'm weird.

And guess what? I saw a mermaid!!!!

i was too afraid to try this ride...altho i did the roller coaster atop the stratoshpere.

Dog sitter? Oh, my goodness! You know, "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" comes out today in theaters but I have a feeling after your Vegas dog sittin' trip, you probably don't even want to look at another dog! ;-P

wow dog-sitting and 6 at a time...how did you do it? it's suppose to be a vaca!!! eheh well at least you get to enjoy good food and also SWIMMING! i lvoe swimming soo much too. Anyways i love your new profile pic looks HOT! :-)

looks a nice pool, glad you at least got to do a bit of swimming, it's a shame you missed out on other things though :(. Next time you'll make up for it!

Have you found your once-in-a-lifetime friend? be sure to not lose that friend. My once-in-a-lifetime friend is my mom. She's totally awesome because she's more like a sister/friend to me. We are really close and I love her so much!!
