I love sleeping; I consider it as one of life’s simplest pleasures. Lol.
Anyway, since I get inspired w/ many of our friends here who blogged about Dreams, here’s my share of the story too. Most of my dreams are vague & random, that’s why I can’t remember them the moment I wake up.. But there are rare moments in a week that I get scary & bizarre dreams, often times I get to be in an old, dark house w/ a very spacious lobby & only a high staircase leading to the 2nd floor, I always seem to be on the look out or running away from something w/ a family or a stranger, here I get to experience eerie situations & apparitions , but what’s really odd about it is that I've been in this house many times in my past dreams.
There are also times in a couple of days I have dreams on situations that are about to happen, or have happened w/out me knowing it yet. Some are the opposite, & some are w/ the same incident. The recent ones that I could remember “clearly” just happened within a week or 2 this July. I dreamt I left my bag in a public transportation, I felt so sad not because of losing my wallet, but of losing my phone, fortunately, the driver find means in returning it to me & got ourselves in local news (haha, dreams can be exaggerating!). Well, the opposite happened in reality, I was at home when I was told that our classmate had her phone stolen in her bag w/out even noticing it. (poor girl!)
The second dream I had is one of those situations you would never wish to happen to anyone; in a split second in my dream I was informed that a relative of mine got abducted & raped. When I woke up that day, I’ve forgotten about it & had my classes in the evening. The evening after that one of my friends was kinda skeptical & told us what happened the other night when she had reached home, & guess what? A girl was raped in their neighborhood who was just a few minutes behind her! (sad news…)
I don’t really get bothered about my dreams, but sometimes I get to wonder if they might ever happen exactly as I dreamed of or the opposite. Sigh…
I’m just thankful that I never had nightmares my whole life, although there are times I wake up w/ tears in my eyes, I’m still grateful that at the end of the day, everything has been well.
So, for everyone, it’s always best to sleep w/ a sound mind & to say a prayer before going to bed. You never know what might happen while you're sleeping.
