HONG KONG.

The last couple of times I went to HK, it was for less than 48 hrs. So it's a treat to be able to spend 4 solid days in HK after my China excursion. HK is one of the fastest moving cities on Planet Earth. It makes NYC look like we operate in reverse. Even the escalators move twice as fast as they do in the States!
以前香港を訪れたときは48時間以下の滞在ばかりでしたので、中国本土の滞在のあと、丸々4日間香港にいられたのがとてもよかったです。香港はこの地球上でペースがもっとも速い都市のひとつです。ニューヨークがまるで逆方向に動いているようです。エスカレーターの速度もアメリカより倍早いです。

I stayed at the brand new W Hong Kong Hotel. I'm not the biggest fan of the W Hotels in America, but this W was excellent. Really good. The rooms are awesome. They aren't huge but they're designed like a Swiss Army knife with movable walls, sliding mirrors and enough automation and buttons to require an owner's manual. I highly recommend it for the price. Also sits right on top of Kowloon Station so from you can arrive from the airport without ever setting one footstep outside. It also boasts one of the highest outdoor pools in the world...on the 76th Fl! Great views from the Bliss Spa on the 73rd Fl also. One more thing: Lymphatic Drainage is the bomb.
僕は今回新しくできたW Hong Kong Hotelに泊まりました。アメリカのW Hotelsはあまり好きではありませんが、ここのWは最高でした。すごくいい。部屋もいい。すごく広い訳ではありませんがスイスアーミーナイフのようにデザインされていて、壁が可動式で、鏡もスライドでき、それだけでも使用マニュアルが必要なくらいの自動ボタンがありました。値段面でもお勧めです。また、Kowloon駅のすぐ上に位置するので空港から到着して一歩も外に出ずにホテルに着きます。あと、世界で一番高い屋外プールを誇ります。。。なんと76階！73階にあるBliss Spaからの景色も最高。あと、リンパマッサージはヤバイ。


It's mad touristy, but I took the Peak Tram up to the top of Hong Kong and took in some amazing night time views. It was unseasonably cold in HK...which means mid 50s. It was funny seeing all the locals freak out with their goosedown jackets and snowboarding gear while I'm in a windbreaker enjoying the breeze.
すごく観光っぽかったですががPeak Tramで香港の上ですばらしい夜景を見に行きました。季節はずれの寒さでした。。。10度くらい。僕が涼しい風をウィンドブレーカーで楽しんでいた中で、地元の人たちがダウンジャケットやスノボー着で大騒ぎしていたのが面白かったです。
