TWO MONITORS.

A recent study noted that working with a second monitor increases productivity by 44%. Something I've been doing since 1999. I almost can't workout without the second screen now. Most people at Staple also have this so I can crank on their productivity as well. Wonder how your productivity goes up if one of those is the 30" monster cinema display from Apple? Fanjoo’s theory is that having a large screen is similar to having a big workspace as primary tasks always stay visible without ending up covered by a game of FreeCell or IM chat."
