Finally getting this page together, I want to use this to reach out to people in Asia with some of the recent music projects I've been doing.
I visited Hong Kong last month and played a gig with old friend
violinist Kung Chi-shing, really fun...hoping to come back again soon
and keep working on music with Hong Kong musician friends...
I stayed on Lamma Island last time I was back, where I used to live,

Vibration Institute...this ties in with some of the sound design work I do for films here in LA, I've just always liked creating abstract atmospheres and sculpting shapes out of sound.
After years of mostly electronic explorations, though, I've lately been missing just playing music and rocking out, and my most recent project is the post-rock band
End of Daze, you can check out our first batch of demos on our MySpace page. I'm playing bass in EOD together with two LA musicians on guitar/synth and drums/percussion. I plan to use this project to feature contributions from a lot of my far-flung collaborators though in the next few months as we do more recording. The EOD EP will be my next big project this year.
