  • Our little friends in my garden

    Hi from London. How is your city? Fortunately, it's not been so cold here for the last 2-3 days. Therefore some lovely animals have appeared in our communal garden and

    have paid a vist to my garden too...

    The most flequent visitor is this CAT. It usually climbs over the fence, and

    creeping around the fence and

    having a rest for a while....

    or when I'm trying to take a picture of her (maybe it's her), she is staring at me like that...this corner is her favourite place to stay. I see she often has a nap there...

    a DOG has appeared, and she is interested in it and looking at it for a while....

    and another dog is roaming around

    A SQUIRREL is also a frequest visitor

     

    and a BIRD is also coming quite often...

    and the squirrel moves up to the corner to give the bird some space on the fence...

    and after that they are on the tree together...

     This is my daily observation from the window in my working room. Actually I'm working at home these days, translating the script for a new Chinese film. That's why I noticed what our "little friends" have been up to in the daytime. My friends in London often say a fox family lives in their garden, but I've never seen them in my garden. Probably they like to live in a big garden. It's really funny to observe them for a while - it refreshes my brain in the middle of  translating - it's really not possible to carry on without a break. However, sometimes I forget the time, derailed from the main task and start doing other things (hahaha, people often do!!)..... Oh, I have to get back to work again now.....Cheers!

    i love to take snapshot for cats. traditonal chinese food / medical shops like to keep a cat as shop keeper. safe away from mouses and cockroachs.

    We are at the peek of the cold for our winter! The daily highs have been in the single digits F with the wind chills (temp when the wind blows) dipping to -20. Waaaaaaaaaaay up north, near the Canada border, they had wind chills (are you sitting down?) -71 F!!

    I keep my birdfeeder filled for whomever needs it. Birds, squirrels, mice... all are welcome. Food is hard for them to find :(

    Another feline star on AnD.  My cat Henry just won't let me take his picture.  Silly creature.  I keep telling him how I could make him a star, that all these cats of famous celebrities are starring on blogs and that Henry is every bit as handsome and winsome as these other cats.  Still he looks away every time the camera comes out.
