Visiting the French film crew "L'ELEGANCE DU HERISSON"

25個評論Hello from a sunny London today (fortunately, not a miserable rainy day...)
This is a follow up from my Paris diary. While I was in Paris, I visited the French film crew "L'ELEGANCE DU HERISSON". The studio was called STUDIO ECLAIR (Does it mean that chocolate eclair?? a cute name..) which is in surburbs of Paris.
The senior actor Togo Igawa in London is the leading man in this film.
I visited the French film crew for the first time, and it was an eye-opener for me.
The hair-dresser is massaging the actor's head...such a nice treatment, he is almost sleeping.... zzz
There area lot of creative drawings on the wall in the make-up room.

Yes, this is the catering tent! like a restaurant and...
they serve 3 course meals!! starting with Goat's cheese pie with salad
The main dish is pork with pasta
and they serve us a selection of cheese and wine...
We are definataly happy eaters...
and the dessert is Panna Cotta with berry sauce. I've never experienced this with any film crew in other countries, definately not happening with Chinese and Japanese film crews. In Japan we only get one cold bento box for each person, and in China it is even worse, very difficult to find a place to eat inside.....I'll show you some pictures...
We have a bento box and are eating in the location bus crushed together and using carboard as a table. Nobody can move or change their posture during the meal...and ...
We are still the lucky ones! The others are crouching and eating lunch outside with wind blowing in a below zero temperature. Not humane treatment.....
and back to the French crew again. There is a coffee and snack area, where you can eat and drink at any time...like filming in Heaven!!
I like this coffee machine (which works with coffee bags not powder so doesn't need cleaning after every use) very much. I'd like to have one at home, but I've nerver seen it in London :-(
They are making the set in the studio...

The French César award actress Josiane Balasko and Togo Igawa are the leading actors!

I even saw a French guy reading this novel in the metro in Paris...
The French film production left me with a very good impression of the French film industry. So far the BEST!!
"L'ELEGANCE DU HERISSON"....I'm wondering when it will come out, well they are still filming now....
