Durian... love or hate?

I remember the first time I had Durian...
I came home from school and opened the door to the living room... As soon as I stepped in the room I was hit by this terrible stench! It smelled like the rubbish bin hadn't been emptied in weeks!

Anyway, it was my mom who had just cut open a durian... she told me to have some quickly coz it was delicious...... I refused, no way I was gonna eat something that smelled like garbage! She insisted though...(yes, I listen to my mom) So eventually I tried a bit...I tried chewing on it and swallowing it... but there was no way I could let it go down my throat... I had to spit it out... it was just yuck!!! I felt like throwing up...

Some people love it... some people hate it... I definitely don't love it!!
Everytime I smell or see Durian I have to think of my durian experience... During our shoot in Singapore we walked passed this market where they sold Durian... my friend loves it and went to buy some... I couldn't wait  to get as far away from these little stink bombs as possible...



This is such a cool fruit: rambutan!
We were shooting at somebody's house and there was a tree full with ripe rambutans in the neighbours garden... We decided that the neighbours could not finish all those rambutans, so we thought we would do them a favor by helping them to eat it...
