    PLEASE DON'T EAT TURTLES!

    I saw this poor little turtle ready to be cooked... I wanted to save it, but there were too many...


    I used to have these little red cheek turtles when I was a kid...I had them for years and I cried every time one died...

    Once I was in TianJin with my dad and we were having dinner with some of his friends... they served this plate with flat dark colored strips on it... They insisted me on trying it... I couldn't tell what it was and I just assumed it was some weird looking  vegetable...I bit in it... and suddenly I had a vision of a turtle. I didn't eat it and asked my dad what it was. He looked at me, smiled and said it was turtle...
    Last year I was also in Wenzhou and they served a whole cooked turtle at this home cooked dinner...My appetite was gone in an instant...

    To me, turtles are cute little pets and they shouldn't be eaten...

    wow, now that i did my whole turtle thing in hawaii,  i think i have to become an anti-turtle eating activist...

    tht's so gross...eating turtle? i CANNOT imagine it. gives me shivers. i know it's weird cause we eat chicken, we eat beef...but turtle? arghh....i can NEVER imagine biting it....*damn* i just ate lunch...arghhhhhhhh

    Oh No!!! The turtle looks like my pet =( I will never eat one. I know how it feels cos I've seen monkeys tied up and chained to a grill behind a restaurant, I assumed they will end up on a table, arrgghh .... what can I do? There is so many of them =( Still get goosebumps thinking about it.

    Turtles don't belong on a plate... I really can't understand why some people has to eat almost every living creature they can catch. So sad... :(

    i agree! turtles are pets and they're water friends as well (i remember swimming with them in hawaii!!!).... eek! how can anyone bear to kill them and cook them!?!... let alone eat them! =0

    aaargh..I didnt know they eat turtles...I used to have two turtles as pets..I could never eat turtles >"<

    I don't want to eat turtles either! My sister would cry if she saw a turtle being eaten. She has pet turtles.
