Projects, Pitches, Persephone and Pixels!

The past few months at New Adjustment Productions have been most fantastic.

Client work has been extraordinary with multiple projects completed for Nike, a new history & evolution video produced for Brammo, and multiple new business pitches and producing collaborations. Overall, 2012 has been steady and smooth... which is a good thing.

BRAMMO - EMPULSE

Last month I produced a music video for The Toadies. They had just begun their nationwide tour with Social Distortion and I had the pleasure of working alongside director Dennis Fitzgerald and DP Joel Stirnkorb on this project. We filmed the project at Grizzly Studios and did not come across one hitch or hick-up. The whole day went smoother than a LuquiGlide Ketchup Bottle and I could not be anymore pleased with the crew we had - for they worked their tails off and did an exceptional job.

Outside of my client work, I have been steadily working my creative projects as well.

Collaboration with Animation Dynamics on Persephone has been fantastic. The team at ADi has lined all the shots into a full standalone piece - so now, we can see the flow of the project in its full form. Of course there is still much to do... like timing all of the transitions, incorporating the final timed movements of the mist demon, blend the colors of the mist to convey the emotional context of the narrative and much more. The experience has been amazing overall and I have started putting together the assets for raising final audio funds for our Kickstarter campaign.

The guardians sign away their souls.

Last, but certainly not least (or really even the last...) the final illustration for my book, "Weevil and Nightshade's Compendium of Farables & Tales" is nearing completion. My illustrator in the UK, Carla Lee, has been feverishly working on getting this last image set in stone. Out of all the illustrations in the book, this one in particular is of the most importance to me, as its meaning and relevance to the farable in which is originates, "Atlantis Had a Hole in His Tongue Which Spoke Secrets to Everyone" has a special place in my heart and soul.

A limited edition hardback book of Weevil and Nightshade will be one of the many incentives I am offering on the Persephone Kickstarter campaign. More information on that will be released in the next month or so.
