8 great years!

This past Tuesday was our 8th year anniversary. Wow! Time flies. We took the day off to celebrate. It was a bit iffy if we were going to be able to have our date because our kids are a bit under the weather...again. I think this time AC passed it to our daughter, then to our son. Anyways, we went to see a movie...Mamma Mia??? NOPE!

THE DARK KNIGHT!!!

Yup! how romantic we are!!! We both agree that this was the best superhero movie we've seen. By this, we really enjoyed the storyline. Unlike other superhero movies, this was a very good story with Batman as one of the characters of the story as opposed to the movie centering around him. Very well done. Heath Ledger was really really good as the Joker. Don't want to spoil it for others, but it's great that this is a "Batman" movie is a story about the Joker's plan. Btw...IRONMAN is a close second for superhero movie...definitely the coolest movie! AC gave me an ultimatum that we will not watch these 2 movies on DVD until we get a new TV...period!

Side note, I told my co-workers that we were going to watch The Dark Knight and all were on my case of watching a violent movie...they all suggested something fun like Mamma Mia. I had to remind them that I married a martial arts fanatic who loves these kind of movies.

Afterwards, we went to Chevy's for a quick bite and margaritas before getting the kids (No, we didn't drink that much margaritas). What a great day!!!
