    In a cooking mood, I made some wonton.

    I haven't made this in a long while. It was fun. My dad taught me this when I was pre-teen. Cooking is really fun and I'm glad that I can remember the old things that I've seen my mom and dad do. They never really taught me, but I was intent on just watching over and over and over. I still have the recipes for chinese pastries, but haven't found time to bring them out. But, this will be a fun and great thing to pass to our kids. My daughter has been helping me with making things like rice krispies marshmallow treats and scramble eggs.

    Same here, my dad taught me how to make wontons when I was young... so for someone who doesn't really know how to cook, that's one thing I'm proud of knowing how to make! :)

    Must be nice for the Mrs. that you know how to cook.  My husband doesn't know how but he wraps a mean dumpling though.

    Ooh, I make wonton every once in a while. Hubby and I have different wrapping techniques. He prefers scrunching and I prefer folding the edges. You look like you fold.
