    Christmas starts with drunk Sydney brawl

    About 60 drunken pub patrons started a brawl in Sydney's west on the verge of Christmas Day.

    The police dog squad, Polair, and nearly a dozen squad cars arrived to the Greystanes Inn in Merrylands Rd about 11.30pm (AEDT) to confront the mob.

    Police said no one was injured during the brawl and staff voluntarily shut the pub around midnight.

    Inquiries continue into how the brawl started but no arrests were made.

    All I can say is: ONLY IN AUSTRALIA!!!
