    Happy New Year again everyone.

    As I do every year, I stay at home on New Years and watch the fireworks on tv. Since the 2000 fireworks display there has been a theme for the show, this year was Creation, a storm of thunder claps and lightning bought in 2009 with a bang. There was a show at 9pm and the big one at 12am.

    And Sydney does not do things by halves, there was also a Guinness World Record attempt - the lighting of a two metre high sparkler, thought to be the biggest ever made. I didn't hear anything about it because mum refused to listen to the pre-fireworks waffle of the presenters and got the shits if I got up from the table because we were having dinner.

    Anyway, not to worry.

    For those of you that want something different, sit back and watch the Sydney 2008/2009 New Year fireworks.
