Was insane!?!?! The fireworks were just incredible. I love the whole theme of the show and I was havin' lots of fun watching, though some parts could've been a little quicker. Damn the performers were spot on with hardly any mistakes.

It must've been the new HDTV usb device that I just bought that made me more excited. Its hooked up through the computer and I got carried away snappin' plenty of pics. I felt like I was there it was so clear!!

So here are some favs. My device crashed once, so some pics from the first part were missin'...sniff sniff.

Imaginative and creative. Okay, so expect tons of copycat scroll ideas for stages in HK concerts coming up.

So part of the scroll was actually a giant piece of paper. I was waiting for an accident to happen.

Pretty crazy how the Tai chi crew pretty much stayed in sync. It was like an army of ants.

They ran so fast passed each other...it was like a Matrix fight scene. hahaha. So many clones!

This part seem to 'wow' the whole stadium...

I had to double take to figure out what was going on (thanks to the HD) its cleary visible to see the cables. The performers were so fluid. I would've been stoked to try that...probably tiring though.

Lots of umbrella's..ella..ella...

OOOOOHHH....AHHHHH....Loved the footprint idea as well. The fireworks seemed to never stop.

After this was the intro to the teams...boy was that long.

Hope ya'll had fun watching it too. Let the games begin!

Thanks for sharing the pictures. It was very wonderful, fantastic, great and grand ceremony. Footprint that came from the sky and players' footprints. It was philosophical and was a polysemy.

Watching it tonight. I would think there'll be a lot of voiceovers, telling stories for each of the teams, the flag bearers, no? I haven't watched an Olympic opener probably since....don't even remember.

The athlete intros are usually too long for me. Thanks for sharing. I still have 7 hours to go before I see the moving stuff. Have seen many pics so far!
