    Mum got a new calendar yesterday. She gets Chinese calendars at Chinese supermarkets. Anyways, she comes home, opens up the calendar and the conversation that follows goes something like this:

    Mum: Oh, it's an ox. No, it's not, it's a horse. It's the year of the horse next year. You're a horse, aren't you, Sarah?
    Sarah: No.
    Mum: Oh, that's right, [younger brother]'s the horse. But [younger brother]'s 18, that's not right. He'd have to be 12 or 24.
    Younger sister: [Older sister]'s a horse, isn't she?
    Mum: Are you 24, Sarah?

    At this point, I grab the calendar to see what zodiac it is. It's an ox. I'm confused.

    Oh heck, I'm frickin' turning 24 this year!

    Sarah: (totally stunned) I'm turning 24 this year!
    Younger sister: LOL, I was gonna say [older sister]'s a horse cos she's turning 24 this year.
    Older sister (who only walked in moments before): (cracks up laughing) Thank you very much!

    Someone shoot me, I'm turning 24!
