    My first time making the traditional Chinese New Year cake (leen gow?).  Some people like it dipped in egg and fried or just fried.    I'll eat it either way.... yummy!

    i don't really like leen gow, though if i were to eat it, i like it dipped in egg and fried. =) i prefer turnip cake and "ma tai gow". ;)

    Just 2 ingredients? One dried red date? I must confess - I've never tasted it before. Stayed away from it. lol
