    I remember when my cable provider just got the CMT station, I discovered plenty of songs I liked that I never realized was categorized as country music.  Songs from singers like Allison Krauss, Sarah Evans, Jessica Andrews, Toby Keith, Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, Shania Twain filled my head for days.    During that time I really liked these songs by Jessica Andrews:

    Hearing these songs today carries me straight back to those days.

    hmmmm. when i click on the videos, they say the video is no longer available... =( but yeah, i like shania twain too! country's not really my thing though... =/ hehe...

    yeah modern country has come along way, when we used to have CMT in England, I got really into a lot of the music, more insturments and powerful voices are involved in it these days. Did you ever hear Allison Krauss 'Baby Mine' song, it was for Disney, and a remake of the song from Dumbo,the song was very sweet.
