  • Dad's Birthday Dinner

    On Saturday night, we went out for dinner to celebrate my Dad's birthday.  Don't know what the reason was but the traffic was crazy and a lot of the restaurants that we went to were packed.  I had forgotten to make a reservation, but luckily we were able to get a table at the third restaurant we went to.    Thank goodness! 

    The dinner was good and I had a pina colada.  YUM!  They make the best pina coladas there.    After dinner, we went to my sister's place to have dessert.... the CAKE.  I bought it at the same place as the last time, got the Strawberry Gateaux. 



    I love the rose petals.... such pretty colours! 

    It was another busy day at work today, spent half the day on the road.  I still have some things to sort out so I might be on the road tomorrow too.  So tired.  It's time for some Zzz's now, good night everyone!

    Those petals are gorgeous!!   I love rose petals.

    Woot - another crocheter !!, there's not many of us so we have to stick together.

    hehe, wagging class to go shopping, thats so cute.  I hope you got some serious retail therapy ^_~

    Happy belated birthday to your Dad.  That cake looks almost too pretty to eat.  Same question as Dreamy - did you eat the petals?  How do they taste?

    I'm no fan of pina colada. Sorry. That cake looks so deliciously yummy right now. My mom got my grandma a mango cake and it was pretty...well...sour. It's not exactly mango season. I didn't even want to eat it.
