I'm still around, if anyone's wondering. Everything just feels so out-of-whack even though I'm trying to get back my normal routine. I'm just hanging in there!

I still haven't gotten internet installed at home yet.... it's driving me crazy. The technicians came by to install the cable for the internet yesterday. They had to come by twice and spent hours just looking for a way to connect the cable to the house...and after hours of going through and trying various conduits from the house, they concluded that it cannot be installed. I seriously doubt if they knew what they were doing because I know my neighbours have internet from the same company. Obviously, they got the better technicians!

Well, things are pretty slow at work today so I'm able to do a little AnDing!

Now that is a problem. If you have a phone line, Power line and I'm sure you have cable for the boob tube. I think they were casing your place out and not really techs from your internet provider.

I switched back to dsl...for some reason, it's faster than cable that we just had.

these technicians can be an issue.. i'm sure everyone expierenced it.......

I had a similar issue the other day when we wanted to change our internet/cable service. The sales guy told me that they wouldn't need to install any new equipment or wiring and then the technicians showed up with a huge box that they need to put in. We have to reschedule now. I hope they'll be able to sort you out though.

argh... it sucks to get people who don't know what they're doing... hope you'll get internet installed soon... maybe you can talk to your neighbor about it...
