  • Red Egg & Ginger dinner

    On Sunday I attended the one month dinner (which are usually called Red Egg & Ginger parties) for the baby twins I visited at the hospital last month.  The twins were so adorable and they've grown since I saw them last!  So cute and rosy....   The dinner was held at Bamboo but the food wasn't as good as the previous times we've been there.  Not sure if it was a different chef or because it was such a large party.  Of course, the red eggs were present but strangely no ginger.

    I learnt about the Red Egg & Ginger parties from being on AnD, it's a lovely idea, but a shame that  the food wasn't up to scratch for you all.

    it's always disappointing when a restaurant you have experienced good food at, is not so good one night.
    especially if you have been looking forward to it.

    No ginger? Anywhere? How odd. Maybe the good chef/sifu wasn't working that night. Or maybe he quit....
