    Part of the reason I've been in the dumps lately is because of this.  Geez, I have to say that juggling work, others schedules and vacation time is hard.   I've tried FOUR times to take some time off, but for various reasons including conflicting schedules, I've had to put them off.  Twice it was for a 2 week vaca in Toronto..... I was planning to go in September, then put off to October, now it's practically non-existent.  The other 2 times was for Florida in either October or November after the Toronto plans fell through.  But I've now come to the conclusion that this won't be happening either.  Arrgh...  I won't go into the details but it's so frustrating.  I've been conditioning my mind for a relaxing vacation, but now that won't be happening till after Christmas.  It sucks... but I just keep telling myself "everything happens for a reason". HA.  
    **Please pardon my venting which is what this post is.**

    Sorry about your plans, that really sucks. I hope you make sure you go for your after Christmas break, put your foot down.

    and for sure, remember to let me know if you plan on coming to toronto (that is, if i ahven't moved to asia already!)!!!

    Yes! Just when you think you see a good time, something has to come up. But for the break after Xmas, be adamant that you take it!!

    yup.. i hate when vacation plans cannot be realized.  My biannual trip to CA Disney was canceled, and I just hope that my x'mas trip to Mexico can come true!
