    I feel silly asking this.... but here goes.  Does anyone know the English name of this fruit?


    The tree has been in our yard for as long as I can remember but I have never heard the English name before.  Everyone I ask doesn't know either.  The Chinese name is "wong pei" (spelling??).

    My nan who lives in a small village in NT HK also has a 'Wong pei' tree in her yard.  Not too keen on them as they can be quite sour.
