I got an invite on the 18th December from my friend Danny Chau who printed JC's exhibition prints. Felt extremely honoured to see the opening of this talented photographer's show. I know he is dying but hope some kind of miracle can happen - you never can be sure in life? From JC's prints, I can see a strong and amazing person even though I never met him personally (but I have seen quite a few of his magazine works) - the stars he portrayed are like friends, not just clients. Anyway, Wing Shya (who pulled lots of strings in a small space of time) and many of JC's star friends like Race, Rosanne, 張敬軒 (these three people really worked like friends who support JC with real hands-on actions), and many attended like 楊千嬅 , Joey Yung, Sammi, most members of Hong Kong Institute of Professional Photographer (some named here - Ringo Tang, Paul Tsang, Francis and Lester Lee) and many others. Having just came back from Europe, it is an eye opener that Hong Kong famous stars / people aren't as cold as portrayed. They are very humanand warm after all. I feel very fortunately to have see that side of Hong Kong. Finally, thanks for a wonderful exhibition and it means a lot to me as JC's spirit really touch my soul. Wish JC all the best wherever he will be!!!
