Trees are so amazing. As I found out when I took some pics from a low vantage point looking up into the trees, the depth really collapses and what you see and what your camera captures can be quite different. You seem to have a much better handle on this than I did with my amateur attempts. I love the light and shade, color and texture and the patterns of the branches. People don't look at trees with enough attention. They carry so much time, weather and life in them that I think they have a lot to tell us, if we would only take the time to study them with care.
