  1st of all...

  HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY OLDER TWIN BROTHERS!

  Sorry Kevin and Allan, that i almost 4got about it. Just now 9+pm only msgs u guys. Sowee... Hope you all stay healthy and happy always.

  How can i 4get!!! GRRRR  is such a nice date. 2008 2008.... A week ago i still keep on reminding myself regarding this. Who knows i still missed it. Really sowee...

  Secondly, My neighbour's granny just passed away today at 2++pm. They were setting up the kenopy tent outsite right now. She is 84 this yr. Just wished to send my condolence.

  

  Thirdly, i finally finished my Murakami book above which mine is in chinese version. Me and my bf got this book during our trip in Taipei February this year. This book is excellent. He discribed feeling and situation that always accure to me. The bottle neck, the kinda pressure and uncertainty... He explained situation and thinking that he been through throughout his career as an artist.

  It took 2-3 months for me to finish this whole book. Although is only 240 pgs but i find it quite difficult for me to digest what he is saying coz i doesn't have a very strong art history background. It will be much easier for my bf which is from illustration background.

  I never re-read any book so far and this is the first because the content is so real and so close to my experiences. Is like a dictionary or a good counseller. I can read it again and again to get a better understanding to those valueble thinking. Is not boring at all. Just need to struggle a bit to understand the period of art movement he is talking about.

  Murakami faught a long way to his success. He studied in deep about art history, communication and market. The communication he is refering is through visual art. A visual and situation where the art could speak to different kinda people from all around the world. He pointed out clearly US vs Japan vs European market is totally different. The way they think, work and see things.

  He also said, working overnight is not hardworking at all. Don't get too excited about rushing few nights of work then you though yourself are hardworking. Actually come to think about it. Is true. Sometimes i myself got excited working overnight to finish up my work. Coz i felt i am producing a work instead of wasting away my time. Buthen if to compare to them, i am really nothing at all. I am only doing stuff that i like, and i think is good. Is still very individual. If i could spend time to think properly what i really wanna create before i do, mayb that's the kinda art work i am looking forward to. An artwork with a soul.

  Still got many many points that he mentioned which are too much for me to write down. What i could say is, this book does make me question on the way i work and my motive behind. I will question and answer and think about what he said and what can apply to me. It gives interaction through words.  *thumb up* from me .
