FINISHING THE GAME || Opening Night @ IFC

*yawn*

ppl oh ppl!!! tired week!!! 3 friends with same birthday!!!
anyway, start off with my meeting with W-bird and Blueamrub for FTG opening night!!!

so, i finally get to meet up with another New York AnD-ers, W-bird aka Wendy!!!!
i'm really happy.
we set up to meet at Galanga, a Thai restaurant on West 4th + 6 Ave, for dinner before the 8.40pm show of FTG @ IFC. when i reach there, the theater was PACKED with ppl!!! Roger explained in his blog as well.

i got off work and head straight to IFC. i figure i can mingle around the area since i haven't been there for a while. Washington Square park is always nice and 'people-ful'. hahah!!!

then i was watching some ppl playing basketball in front of IFC. i wanted SO BADLY to touch 'the basketball'...but also so afraid cause i'm such tiny little person! you know how all these strong, tall, mascular basketball players, they look 'fierce'!!! LOL!!! *shrug* then i left to Galanga.

a little bit later, Blueamrub shows up! we waited a little bit, but realise the restaurant probably going to get pack, so we decided to get a table and wait inside instead.

i was kinda 'stupid' cause i forget to leave W-bird my cellphone number. *arghh* so, i kept looking out the window to see if she gets here yet. few minutes later, she arrived!!!! how i know it was her? cause she was peeking in to the restaurant while i was peeking out to the street! hahaha!!!!!

we introduce ourselves, we order our food, and THEN only we start our CHAT! hahah!!!

first impression of W-bird, SHE IS SO GENTLE! soft voice, average height, LOVELY of course, and she look smart! i think among 3 of us, i'm the 'wild' one i guess? hahah!!! Blueamrub is very suttle, and lovely!!!!! proof of me being the 'active' one, i drop my food several time while eating! *blush* food was too good, and also i wanted to talk to them and know them both more! i guess i'm just NOT a good multi-tasker. hahahahah!! *shrug*

will definitely meet up with BOTH of them in future!!! more to come more to come!

alright, we walked to IFC around 8.12pm-ish, and *wow* there was already a line to get in! amazing! while waiting in line, there were still ppl asking if there is ticket available! really really great turn out for FTG!

oh by the way...i'm the only one in yellow. *shrug* (again...i'm the only 'crazy' one...hahah!)

ok. the wait wasn't long and we got in the theater. movie start!

*laugh laugh laugh* - only me...*blush*

(an hour and a half later)

movie was FUNNY!!!!! every character is so strong! hahahahah!!! each of them have their own 'funny' side/lifestyle! hahahah!!! but i have to say, the thing i love most is the whole 70's 'look' set design and costume!! kudos kudos kudos!!!! Roger and Sung Kang are definitely the strongest actors! but credit to the rest as well! *confetti confetti confetti*

a short Q&A, tempted to ask Sung Kang the 'Expiration Date' issue...but am glad i didn't. *sweat* after tht, we gone thruogh a maze to find the bathroom in IFC, and went back up to meet the FTG crew! W-bird was shy, and she said she'll just wait for Blueamrub and me outside. i was like ok...but DON'T GO WITH NO PHOTO!!!! hahaha!!!

met Sung Kang, he's sweet! very sorta soft spoken as well! (tht really just made me felt i'm the 'loud one' tht day...*sigh* oh, besides Roger. i can't beat him. after all, he IS Breeze Loo!! hahah!!!) then, we waited to meet up with Roger outside, W-bird excuse herself to leave cause she needs to drive back to Jersey. we took a quick snap, and said goodbye to her! (again...jeez...i forget to take her number, nor did i gave her mine! *damn* anyway, i'll PM HER! *wink*)

finally Roger is free, and we get to ask for a photo with him. he's definitely a fun person in reality too!!! then he had to go hang out at Lime for their after party. Blueamrub and me were too tired, so we decide to head back.

this time, i got the right film for my Poloriod, and here's the result!!!
