i can't believe i actually miss blogging and sharing!!! hahahaahha!!!!

"damn you AnD!"

well, since my 'lucky' meeting, i have been busy handling things, both personal and official. slowly getting them checked off my list! speaking of which, THIS IS THE LATEST I CHECKED OFF THE LIST OF THINGS TO DO IN LIFE! hahahah!!!

SNOWBOARDING!!!

the bestest winter sport for me. though i never really try any other winter sports. hahaha! but this count! I CAN'T WAIT FOR A SECOND TIME!!!!!!!!! (which i think it's going to take a while...*sigh*)

been planning for this for about a month. got REALLY HYPE (still am) when it went down the last week of when we are actually GOING!!! *woohoo*

we drove from the city to Camelback Mountain, Pocono, Pennsylvania. Pocono is a really beautiful state. really nice with the mountain and ice. http://www.skicamelback.com. on the road, i was craving for FRIED CHICKEN all the way. hahah!!! but believe it or not? we can't find ANY fried chicken fast food stop, nor was any fast food stop open. IT WAS ONLY FRIGGING 10pm!!!!! am i being too spoil as an 'owl' or 'vampire' to think fast food close before 10pm is just 'gay'? eventually only get some 'junk' food (Fritos and Doritos) as our road trip dinner. *yucks*

charlene, me, sarah (3 out of 5 on the trip) take note this is the me 'before'.

i can't really sleep tht night. too hype. but anyway, woke up and UP WE GO TO CAMELBACK!

i'm really really hype and excited. i don't think i even listen carefully of my friends' instruction, i just wanna go try myself!!! hahahah!!! but one thing i learned, to determine which leg as my forward foot, one just have to push me from behind and the first foot tht i pulled out to balance myself is the forward foot. me, right foot forward, which known as Goofy style. Regular style is with left foot forward.

alright, no word can explain my fall, my laughter, my craziness–all my experience in snowboarding. i wish SO BAD someone can record how i fell. then i can look back and laugh my ass off about my silly action. i'm sure i look damn funny!!! hahahah!!!! still, thanks to my friend Sarah whom is also my teacher, who took all these photos!! what a great memory!!!

those photos were taken after like my 3rd run. all these felt SO SHORT! all i know in my head was, i gotta get up, and get down the hill so i can get back up and do it again!!!! man!!!!! i was chasing time!!! hahahah!!! we can only afford to rent the car for one day. so, i gotta make this trip WORTH IT! *yay*! well, yea..the one ending up in the 'pit' area, i was learning how to 'turn', and well, the photo says it all! hahah!!! i need more more more more more lesson! hahah!!!! but at least i get to snowboard for 6 times!

on the 4th/5th run, i manage to stop without falling on my ass! it was tht cool 'curve' stop where the board chipped up ice and the ice spread in front. *sweet* on the last run, i only fell twice! i was yelling/cheering for myself! hhahaha!!! some looked at me crazy. but I DON'T CARE! I DID IT!!!!! yay! yay!

one thing i never learn–getting off the chair lift!!!! GOSH!!! I ALWAYS FALL FLAT ON MY ASS!!!! so hard so hard! even getting on! with tht board attached to one of your leg, so inconvenient!!!!!

still, i had fun. hahahaha! i miss snowboarding as soon as i leave tht place!!!!

tht's the me 'after'. hahahah!!! but it's all WORTH IT!!! priceless experience!

*phew* FUN WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh lastly, i need to credit all my friends who borrowed me their gear!
thanks Anne for the goggle, thanks Emilia (roommate) for the waterproof jacket and pants! i save a lot from all these!!!!!!! oh by they way, i only manage to get 'youth size' gloves...hahaha! the adult size is just too big!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

alrighty, now i need to head to bed.
the soreness, what???? I DON'T FEEL IT! hahahah!
well, actually not, i do feel it, but i think the hype, the excitement of the experience just overpower it all! it's a GOOD SORE!!! *wink*

[note: i still went out tht same night we got back from Pocono, and stayed up till 4am. hahahahah!!! i was still hype!!! i can't rest!!!!!! i wanna keep going!!! but...the next morning, as soon as i 'rest', BAM it hit. but still, I'M HAPPY I FEEL SORE!!!!]

renren - thanks :) yea...the lift SUKS...need to work harder on tht. hahah! i guess it'd really be a disaster for a escalator. also i think the lift protect both the board and ski boards from damage? *shrug* but yea, i hate the lift.

peachey - it doesn't really hurt as much. but yea. the sticks for ski can help you stand. i think snowboard is just more body work. to get your ass up, and to maneuver with your legs and stuff. hahaha! FUN STILL!!!! *yay*

yea the weather is so cold that only snowboarding makes sense. i envy all those ppl who can snowboard, look so cool! =P

camelback is pretty good, we went there last year..
this year we went to jack frost.. not so good.. don't go there

I hate getting off the lift. I've only ever gotten off the lift once without falling. Why can't someone just come up with a big escalator thing that takes you to the top? Good job on your first time snowboarding. I think I only did 2 or 3 runs my first time.

Oh that sounds like so much fun. Yes, getting off the lift is so tricky. haha. I think I performed just like you on my first few times skiing only prolly a bit more awkward with those long sticks attached to my legs. Very funny but hard, hard work. haha. I think I'll pass on snowboarding. I don't heal as fast as I used to. haha.
