    damn...

    my orthopedist uncle scolded me.

    i sprained my thumb again closing my drawer at home. so my parents and i went to his clinic. he was surprised that after two weeks it was still painful. so he asked me if i rested the whole two weeks like he told me to. i fell silent. that was all he needed to know.  and my mom couldn't shut up (mothers!!!) she told my uncle that i went straight to work right after leaving his clinic two weeks ago  

    so now this is how my hand looks like

    dang!.... whole arm! surprised right? he said nobody puts a cast up to the wrist only because of the tendons there. maybe he's right, i dunno, i'm not an orthopedist. but i still think he's punishing me

    other than the fact that it's really hard to get around wearing this cast, i also have to wear an armsling as per doc's orders. well at least the sling hides the whole arm and the embarrassing "thumbs up" i'm forced to do in the next two weeks....

    I bet it itches by now, my brother used to use chopsticks to try and scratch and all this dead skin came out-ugh!

    and i thought my shoulder fracture was bad enough, thank god i didn't need a cast.

    That sounds painful. Dw, I know how you feel I broke my left arm when I was 4 because my brother jumped on it and then my cousin decided to do the same thing 6 months later while I was asleep. I had sleepless nights, though you'd think I wouldn't remember, I do. I cried and cried. I remember using my left arm to write.

    Oh. Ouch. I've never had a cast. But it sure looks cumbersome. Get better soon. And you have a good weapon there.
