Yesterday was China's public holiday as well (Dragon Boat Festival), so we went to IKEA, and Decathlon to do some shopping. There's a new supermarket, called METRO (I have no idea which country it's from ) something like COSCO in the US, so we walked in, but only members can go in, so we asked how to be a member, and they said it's free to be a member now
(so what's the point to setup such system? Cos you need to pay for the membership to be a member of COSCO in Taiwan). Anyway, when we thought OK, let's sign up for the member, but the security guard said "SORRY, child under 1.25m is not allowed inside, see the sign up the entrance", what the hexx!
Who set up such stupid rule? Is that some kind of discrimination to child?
My E said to the guard and the staff in the entrance, "OK, then I leave my girl to you and we'll come back to pick her up after 2 hours!" The staffs just smiled, and said it's the rule.........
I'm sure this METRO shop will lost lots of potential customers (like me) just because of this stupid rule, cos I won't go to that shop ever again! DISCRIMINATION! Who know this METRO shop?
Another thing bother me - this morning when we drove Amelie to her school, just stopped in front of a red-signed traffic light, I saw a man and 2 women by the street, did something from the black garbage bag, and I was just curious
and take a look at it .........OMG,
the man was peeling skin off a rat!
And use some kind of knife to cut its nails.............OMG,
it's awful, disgusting.......I didn't mean to look at it........then I told my E not to eat any dumpling that's from the street or unknown small shop! I'm still feeling so disgusting now.
