so, i'm back from Beijing!
these 4 days were the most amount of chinese/mandarin i've heard and spoken ever. lol.
The
cold was unbearable initially, but we slowly got used to it. The nights
were extremely cold.. and i think that's how i fell sick, still feeling
rather tired now.. couldn't sleep much in the plane, then i'm doing
this again in 2 weeks' time, to the US.
We didn't manage to get
selected to work with CNEX, but overall, i think we still made it
pretty far, to be one of the 8 student teams selected out of 23 to go
to Beijing and participate in this very interesting session. Listening
to the other directors' experiences.. and getting comments from the
professors from film schs in taiwan and china about our project, those
were really valuable.
Here are some photos..

first night.. steamboat dinner with Rachel!

before the presentation..

So i was home today, talking to the boy
online, and then i suddenly received a call, from someone telling me
that they have some roses for me. i was like WHAT? and then the person
said he was outside my door (my doorbell doesn't work). so i opened the
door, and there was that guy, holding a vase of red roses. i was like,
o.O. yea, they are from the boy.
apparently he ordered them online and had them delivered to my house. i
was in complete shock for a long while, really touched and speechless
at the same time. i wish i can do something so sweet for him too, but i
don't know how to. i guess i'm just waiting for the day i see him, and
give him the biggest hug ever. 15 more days..
looking forward to this break/vacation in the US.

i love
you too
