to a new year..

it's nearing the end of the year very soon!
and i'm about to leave this desert of Twentynine Palms in California very soon..

didn't start off very well when i first saw him, as usual, i'd be confused about my feelings, but as days passed by, i got so emotionally attached again. i know i'm going to be miserable when i go back to Singapore, but i do miss my parents and my friends a lot, and they will help me through this.

anyhows, this also marks the end of my 4th trip to the USA within 2 years, and so here are some piccies of my first stopover at Chicago, meeting up with my dearie Eileen Tay!

oh yea, i got hit once.

yea, 2 days in Chicago, super duper cold, but i loved it.
maybe i'd head there in the summer next time so i could do more sightseeing without freezing my a** off.

and then i head to this desert.. nothing much but sand. there is a walmart though, which started my shopping spree on candies & chocs to be shipped back to Singapore.

these 11 days with him, have been great, with lots of talking about our relationship, but honestly i still don't know why despite so many things that we don't agree on, or how i hate him for not letting me drink at all (but i did give up drinking for him), i still cry whenever i see him sleeping next to me and think how fast time is flying by.. that i'm still hanging on to this.

leaving soon in 7 hours' time.. don't know what to think or feel.. just want to spend every waking moment with him now. but i do want to go home to my family, to my friends. i miss them all. i want to go home and think through things again..
well, i'd be counting down to 2008 in the plane as i touch down in Singapore.. landing time being 11:59pm, 31st december. i figure, during taxi-ing, i'd be hugging strangers around me and saying "happy new year"!

yea, char will be back.
