"Its Halloween in January" or "getting the most out of my $100"

Dan F and the good people at Yumla used Chinese New Years as an excuse to hold a costume party a few nights back....  Ana and a few other people I knew were going so I decided to bust out my good old Mario costume one more time for good.  

 I actually have gotten my money's worth out of this costume... I wore it to TWO halloween parties.  One in Tokyo and one in HK last October.  Three times! usually you only wear a costume once!  That ends making the dollars spent per party (or even better, the dollars spent per female coming up to ask and take a picture) very reasonable! 

I owe Dan a thank you for this opportunity! ;-)



as you can guess, it was quite crowded by the time I arrived at 11ish...

this guy had one of the best costumes of the night... he was dressed like that scene in Star Wars where Luke Skywalker was pretending to be a storm trooper...


This guy apparently thought it was the Year of the Dragon, not the Year of the Ox!

After about an hour and a half, I decided to squeeze my way out through the crowd towards the exit... on my way out I realized that my quest was at an end:

I had found Gandalf the Grey...  standing next to what i assume is supposed to be 'Franky Cook' (the Angelina Jolie character) from "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow"... with a stain on her uniform where she spilled her drink. :-P
