  • Howard McCrary's Birthday at 4 Seasons' Hotel

    a quick interruption of my blogs about my japan trip for some pictures from earlier tonight:
    東京の旅行のブログまだ何個有るけど、今外のブログ一寸アプする。ホワールド・マクーリーの誕生日だった！

    There was a Chivas event held at Watermark,  afterwards a few of us went down to the lounge at the 4 Seasons Hotel in IFC.  They have a really talented band there,  led by that familiar face behind the piano:

    Hey, its Howard McCrary!

    Actually it wasn't just a few of us who stopped by,  as you can see from the reverse angle:

    Quite a turnout....

    Because it was Howard's Birthday:

    they got him a cake... and some sort of novel oversized lotus bun cake...



    actually 4 of them...

    Lots of outpouring of respect and admiration for Howard.... there was actually a line of ladies of all ages to take photos with him...  fighting (almost fighting) to get next to him for a photo...


    I couldn't stay that long, but i stayed long enough to enjoy Marsha Yuan's duet... quite good!

    Howard had to work on his birthday?  Well, at least it insured that he had lots of guests on hand for the celebration!  =)
