Our friends at Know1edge hosted a press conference on Sunday at Delay No Mall. They were unveiling a new fashion line in collaboration with none-other-than Daniel Wu.

Know1edge Holiday 2008 Collection by Daniel WU
This collection represents Daniel Wu's own personal interpretation of SF fashion. His collection, an ode to the San Francisco Bay Area, was inspired by the eclectic yet subtle style that is true to San Francisco fashion. With each item connected to a memory of a place that was special to Daniel growing up, he takes us on a tour through his Bay area using clothing as the vehicle.

It was pretty cool, here are some of my pics:

they had the stand-up outside too, I wonder how many of these things they made...

we're both demonstrating our San Francisco inspired fashion!
(everything except for the HK trucker hat). :-P

I'm not exactly sure why, but they had free cupcakes:

Eventually the man himself came out to demonstrate the stuff he's putting his name on:
I guess he's done this enough times, he's used to being in front of a bunch of onlookers and non-chalantly sit there while people just snap away w/ cameras...

JBS and Daniel did a press conference and fielded questions from the press... and when the questions ran out they went the extra mile and made people ask questions whether they wanted to or not...

Yes, you, the guy from Horse and Hound, what's your question?

This collection is a big deal for JBS and Annie, I wish them luck with the new venture! I think it will definitely help get them some good exposure (I already saw one feature spread on it in an HK weekly).

I had to run back to the office, but guess who was hanging out outside on my way out?

Tomorrow i'll put up some of my video from the press Q&A...

Between your, Know1edge's, and Daniel Wu's blogs I've seen seven(?) of Daniel's designed pieces. Are there more? I'd like to see them. What I've seen I like a lot. I'm glad those trucker hats are so HK.
