Went on a bike ride with some of the homies today.  We did a good ride from Taipo to Fanling (and back!)  Pictures forthcoming of course...

afterwards Swang, Kevin and I went to Shenzhen to wash-up, chill and rest our achin' legs at a Spa.  We took the late night bus and got back to my apartment about an hour ago.  Here's two interesting pics I took there:

Living The Skin Almightiness Washes Noodles Milk!
this is an actual product.... based on the Chinese its some sort of milk-based facial soap....

But the fun comes from the fact that it looks like whoever tried to translate the name didn't know how to speak EITHER Chinese OR English... they confused 麵(noodle) with 面(face) and  全能(all purpose, literally all capability) with Almighty (as in the 'all powerful')

also found another friendly face on Chinese TV... unfortunately he was horribly drunk!

yes, its a clip from Andrew's TV series 《春去春又回》 he blogged about last spring, its finally airing in China...

I watched a few minutes of the end of this episode... i wasn't exactly sure what was going on... There was an argument and then Andrew was strangling some girl and then he went to a bar and got really drunk (as seen above) and then got into a fight w/ someone...    i'll have to ask him what the story actually is. :-P

that was such a long funny translation - - & a long name just a "facial wash"..they should have just saved the impressing part for the back part of the bottle..you know, along with the "directions", "warning" & "ingredients" =)

have you asked andrew what the story was about yet?? =)

    >they confused 麵(noodle) with 面(face)

a typical new china thing... but is not a mistake, that is the way noodle is written in simplified chinese.

this happens with many other characters that are simplified to their main phonetic radical and then you need to read the context to figure it out.
