Last week I took a visiting friend up to the Peak for dinner... since we were running late, I decided to take the 'Peak Tram'... which is an interesting ride, i recommend it at least once for all vistors... assuming the line is not too long! 先週お外から友達居たから、ピークのトラムでピークへ行った。

The most fun part is half-way up, looking back at the buildings and realizing how steep the ride is:一番面白時、後ろへ見た、ビルを見る。。。

Not bad, wish it was a little clearer... of course my casio could take a better one either way.

i love the Peak. Which restaurant did you guys eat at? There's this Italian restaurant with a nice jazz band a great view, did u go there? forgot the name...

I remember the steep angle of the ride, it's something yu have to experience for yourself to know what it's like. I wish I had of gone to the peak at night. Looks beautiful.

They're not quite as portable, but ever consider getting a SLR? The prices are still nontrivial, but they're affordable enough if you want one. The sunsets can be truly amazing...

I went there with my father and I was surprise to see that the top of the tower is not free anymore.
They are saying that is for offseting your carbon footprint during the trip.
I totally agree with that but I 've read some recent article about this and it seems that no "green association" has ever receive any money from the government about this "green fee".

Anyway, great picture.
I probably have some somewhere but not in the night.
So hard to have a great cloudless day....

You're still missing your casio? Maybe you should buy another one.

I've taken the peak tram a couple of times. I think it's a lot of fun. Where did you have dinner?

yea... I was quite lucky the night before I left HK... the weather was amazing!!!!~ so I was lucky enough to get some good pics of HK at night... hehee... ;) that was a treat for my trip...

oh, I miss HK... hahaa... ;)

Bubba Gump's? In Hong Kong?!? *SIGH* Glad I didn't see that during my trip to the Peak. I got to see this view during sunset, but then a huge storm came and I left before I could see the light show from the Peak. Next time...!!!

food - there's some pricey restaurants, some with very nice views... the best view is actually at bubba gumps... there's also a Burger King if you want to save some $$$. ;-)

Breath-taking, as usual.

When I was little, I used to ask my mother where was HK (as she came from there). I'd look across the bay at Oakland and ask her if that was HK. And being a parent, she said it was. haha.

That's on my list of things to do in Hong Kong. And it looks even more amazing at night. Is the food good up there?
