Tokyo pt 11 - Nabe with two Hot Mamas from Tokyo...

First before I am accused of treating women like pieces of meat - let me explain that I chose that title because Mio titled her blog about the same meal as '2 HOT men from HK' 


Our last night in Tokyo we met up with Mio-chan,  Taiga-kun and Mai-chan for dinner at a Nabe (鍋) restaurant near Ebisu station:　東京の最後晩時みおちゃん、タイガ君、とまいちゃんと恵えびすの鍋屋で食事した：

I am very serious about my Nabe! 　　僕はシリアス人ですよ！

Nabe is basically the Japanese version of Chinese Hot Pot (火鍋), the Japanese versions I've seen usually use a shallower pot, but the idea is basically the same.  This place served some sort of Korean-Japanese fusion Nabe:

You start w/ a big pile of stuff,  then pour the soup over it, mix it up and cook...


A few minutes later it looks like this.... Not too bad.  You wear a bib to keep your shirt from getting messed up w/ splashes, etc.　美味しそうか？

After we finished the nabe stuff, there was still some soup left in the pans,  the Japanese are efficient though,  they take either udon or rice and mix it up in the pan to soak up the left over liquids...

It was delicious! Thanks to Mai and Mio! 　美味しかった！まいちゃんとみおちゃん御馳走様！

After dinner it was raining...   Patrick was prepared though -

He brought his pink umbrella with the frills...　パット君の傘可愛いですか？ゲイじゃない？

Actually it was Mio's, he was borrowing it - 　実はみおちゃんの傘だった。

One extra:

As you guys may know, Japanese people are big into their 'washlet' high tech toilets.  Nowadays its not just enough to have the spray thing...   there's an arms race in Japanese high tech toilets...

At this place they had the fanciest Robo-toilet control panel I have EVER SEEN:
レストランのワシレットがすごいでした。とてもハイテク！

Its actually not connected to the toilet, but built into the cabinet next to it and works like a remote control. 

If you zoom in you can see all the controls... I'll add tags to translate what each one is... friicking amazing...  but this one doesn't even have automatic seat lifting, heated seat or the privacy sound maker...
