multiple SMS syndrome!?

ack, something has gone crazy w/ my phone the last two days...

two people, one yesterday and another one today, have told me that after we were smsing back and forth, suddenly they started recieving multiple copies of the same SMS over and over again...

yesterday's guy said he got like 50 copies of one of them... today was worse!  100+ and still going.

i feel really bad for inconveniencing them... the guy today called me and said 'can't you make it stop?  i don't care about the money,  but its killing my battery!'  (today's messages have taken about HK$100 off my account today, yesterday's were probably even more cause it was an overseas number!)


i tried to call Three's customer service hotline(s)...  they have one of those annoying menu systems that make it impossible to reach an actual human... 

after punching random menu choices i found one place that went to a real person, after waiting for like 5 minutes the guy comes on and speaks cantonese.  he doesn't speak english well enough, so he tried to transfer me to another operator... apparently the english guy is busy, cause he didn't pick up and they said 'give us your number and we'll call you back'... that was 30+ minutes ago...

doh.  gotta try going down to the service center in the morning...
