*aiya* I was getting ready to go out, so I grab my camera to put into my bag. But it slipped outta my hand and down to the floor it went. *oh crap* turn it on... UH OH! turn it off and turn it on again... makes a funny noise with a little vibration... *not good* turned it off and turn it back on... no noise... switch to view mode to look at pictures, delay in startup time. *aiya* turn it on again, the noise again... *sigh*

I bought the camera last year in November so it's still under the 1 year limited warranty. *phew* but I don't know; I already contacted the Sony support; will have to wait and see what happens... but hopefully the problem (if it is) will go away...

***UPDATE***
I have to ship my camera for repair (hopefully under the warranty) I'm gonna miss my camera...

My regular readers: I decided that I will go to the Wynners Concert alone to enjoy it. I just couldn't let that concert go by me because it's exactly 10 years since the last time I saw them. So I bought my ticket yesterday at one of the Chinatown ticket outlets. Then I came home to look at the Oracle Arena website (the venue) and they were selling tickets there to thru ticketmaster. I actually found better seats on ticketmaster, 12 rows ahead of me!!! *oh darn* but I would have to pay an additional $20+ for the ticket because the service charge, convenience charge, and the additional (?!?) $2.50 to print my own tickets (?!?) *WTF*

well, whatever, I'm happy with what I have now; I'm just happy that I'm going! Although it will be an "older" crowd there, I'm sure I'll still have fun.

the Olympics Closing Ceremony is tonight... after tonight I will be catching up with the lost sleep. But damn, what will I be doing on weeknights now *thumb twirling* well until Dancing with the Stars return again. But really, I need to get working on the projects at hand *OPPS*

I can't believe August is nearing and September soon to arrive. This year seems to be going by quite fast even though I don't feel very productive. *thinks* yea not very productive. But just moving along.

My grandma is pushing for a trip to Vegas to visit my uncle; I don't mind going... hahaa... hey, who can complain about going on a trip? but we'll have to see what happens. *sigh*

Oh woo good to hear you've bought tickets for the concert. Who will you be going with?? Wish I can come to Vegas too. So jealous. No I wouldn't complain about a trip like this...not at all!

I always dread that happening with my camera.  Lucky that your's is still under warranty.  Hopefully the folks at Sony will fix it up and have it back to you in a flash.

Good that you decided to go the concert.  I think you'll still have fun even w/o your Mom.  You can make new friends too.  At least you'll already have one thing in common :)

Vegas is fun.  Hope you get to go!

Bummer about the camera!!!  No more photo assignments for awhile, eh?

Yeah...Olympics are over...sort of.  The announced today that one of the next season's "Dancing with the Stars" star is gonna be Misty May-Treaner!!!!  (She's the beach volleyball gold medalist!)  How sweet is that?

I can't wait for "Dancing with the Stars."  At least we'll get more sleep than watching the Olympics!

Enjoy your concert...who knows...maybe you'll be sitting next to your future husband!  ;-P

Good to hear you're taking charge on the Wynners thing. Bart's pretty safe going to the Arena and straight back (if you're considering Bart). Just don't eat in a restaurant in Oakland. =P

Hopefully you'll get your camera back pretty quick. Like within a month. =\ At least you broke it while it was still under warranty. lol. Those guys are slippery!

Yeah ticketmaster whacks you for fees. Glad you've decided to go to the concert, it wll be worth it.

sorry to hear abt your camera. did you held your breath for a moment watching it on the floor, and felt the world moved a thousand times in that split second? i always felt this way when something dear to me drops .. camera, mobile ..
hope it comes to you in a good shape!

It's funny how sometimes if you go to a show alone, you feel lonely at moments, but for the most part, you can really listen to the music (or focus on the movie, if it's a movie). Have fun!

Sorry about the camera :( Mine got dropped twice while I was in S. Africa last year. 2nd time messed up the viewer, looks all color distorted like from 70s...but still works on computer. I hope your's gets fixed alright!

I have a Sony A100. I dropped it and it's doing the same thing, and the battery gets hot and conks out. I hope I'm under warranty.
