Remember those days when pagers/beepers were the hot items?

I had one during my last year in High School... it was a way for my mom to find me b/c during the last year of high school, my friends and I would go to work afterwards... doing mass mailing for a patenting company... I never learned the pager codes... was never really good at it... it would take me a long time to read the message of numbers... and I don't always get it right too...

the only ones I knew or remember were:
143 = I Love You (never used it though... hahaa...)
43 = F___ You (did I use this? hahaha.. just kidding...)
5012124 = Sorry
07734 = Hello
99 = nite nite

that's about it... were you good with your numbers??

ya beepers,remind me high school life.it is very funny that the numbers make up codes stand for many many meaning though it is simple.

beepers.. those were for my dad, right?
=P

i remember one time when i was in F3, a young guy came to our sch's open day and dropped off his beeper # to my friend. She handed out his # and in one day each girl in the entire class called his beeper for at least once, leaving #s of funeral homes, etc. =P

Figuring out pager code was as annoying as reading words spelled out LiKe tHiS. Can't believe people even wrote letters to each other all in numbers. One of my friends did that to me once. Had a headache getting through it. 637 ("Always and Forever") was commonly used after 143.

my # was so easy to remember 772-2991
7722 991... haha. i remember the HELLO and I LOVE YOU but i didn't know about the '43'! =0

i never had pagers....and only got my 1st handphone in university...imagine that.

Oh, I remember beepers. I was forever using my friends and inputting codes as I wasn't allowed one(well I had to choose between that or a CD player!). Can't remember many of the codes now though. Thanks for bringing back some good ole memories.

I like to be optimistic... sometimes I am a little negative, but that just happens... I would say it is part of life... =)
