gotta fight off a cold... I got a sore throat... guess I had too much fun over the weekend... *argh* I hope I can fight it off b/c my friend is having a potluck this weekend and I don't want to miss it b/c I think a lot of our school friends will be there...

Took some drowsy meds last night and went to bed before 10:30 (that's the earliest I have slept in a long long time...) got up at 8am today... I wanted to sleep but I also don't want my grandma to know that I'm not feeling so well... I'll never hear the end of it... I'll find some time today to take a nap or two...

I'm almost done with painting my room... yea I know... it's taking me a long time... we didn't strip out the old paint so I need to paint like 3 coats of paint to hide off the old paint... *argh* what a mistake... oh wells... at least it's almost done... I will be painting in the last coat on the trims today... when I finish, I'll take some pictures to share with you all...

feelin' kinda light-headed right now... maybe the drowsy med haven't died off yet...

Everyone in my family had a cold not too long ago. Thought for sure I was going to end up getting sick as well, but luckily, I didn't. Guess drinking all that OJ worked.

I do the whole routine with Airborne, Emergin-C and Zicam when I feel a cold coming on but rest helps too. Good luck fighting this thing. I always hide when I'm sick from my Mom cause she always starts with the Chinese medicine and soups. Does your Grandma do that too?

Aww, poor Jane. All you can do is rest up and wait out a cold. Your grandma WILL find out. haha. Unavoidable. Inevitable.

Can't wait to see the peach-colored room. Peach, right? haha.

Have you found your once-in-a-lifetime friend? be sure to not lose that friend. My once-in-a-lifetime friend is my mom. She's totally awesome because she's more like a sister/friend to me. We are really close and I love her so much!!
