Because I'm stupid?

As you may recall, I'm a bit hard at hearing during phone conversations... but I've realized that sometimes I'm a bit clueless and don't "click" right away... reason? Because I'm stupid?

Some examples... back in high school, there was an okay-looking guy that was hinting at me, but I was quite clueless; then he asked me for a dance at the Winterball but I didn't want to dance so I said 'no.' And later my friends told me it's kinda bad to reject a dance? *Like I knew about all these things* I had no clue. oh wells, whatever... as I see it, that guy is kinda weird now...

Then there was a time when I was on the set watching a celebrity (name not to be mentioned) film a music video. I was really interested in knowing how this whole filming process worked. I was standing there with the celebrity and he was munching on some Pringles chips. He turned around to me and offered me some; but what did I do? I said, "no thank you." Then when I told people about it, they said, "OMG! why did you reject the offer?" I shrug, "Because I'm stupid?"

and the most recent example... when I met with Ivy in Hong Kong. She showed me around Central and we came upon the stone steps and I was taking a picture of it. Ivy offered to help me take a picture. But I said "Oh, its okay. Thank You." OMG! what was I thinking to reject a picture be taken by a photographer? Because I'm stupid?

Sometimes I wonder why I tend to be so slow. I'm sure there were more incidences of my stupidity. But I remember these ones clearly because I was asked why I rejected the "offer" to me. Then after thinking about it again, I'd ask myself, "seriously, why didn't I take the offer?"
Because I'm stupid?
