The new season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance started in mid May and this past Wednesday was the first episode with the Top 20 Dancers (10 guys and 10 girls) This is my 3rd season watching this show and I already have my two favs: Twitch and Katee.

So I hope they will do good on the show.

Anyway... I feel like Katee has a disadvantage on the show. Why? take a look at this video...(The beginning of it is cut off so here is what happened)... Katee and Natalie are best friends and roommates... and only one person can make it through to the show. So the judges asked the pair, "Only one will go through, the other one will not, so will the person that doesn't make it through come back next year for auditions again?" and Katee responded with a "No." Because already tried out two years now and it was mentally and emotionally too straining for her. The judges sent them backstage and the judges did a re-vote and tried to "boot out" Katee... and the video picks up from there after the re-vote...

I felt like they were picking on Katee and saying that she's a quitter. (Anyone else felt that way about the way the judges were talking?) She only said she won't come back to audition, it doesn't mean that she will quit dancing. To me, I felt like the judges were being too harsh. I mean the show is not the only way into the dance business.

So I hope Katee will stay strong and prove to the judges that she's not a "quitter." And she proved it quite well on her first routine with her partner. The dance gave me chills because it was so full of emotion and they were in-sync.

I watched a few shows..... but keeping missing it. But, ya, it's a great show. I love dancing shows.

I did watch the pair and I love them immediately. I am also a fan of Chris Brown and Jordan Sparks.

We have a programme similar to this in the UK called Strictly Come Dancing which I like alot too. Also dancing on ice. I can do neither of these hee. It's amazing how talented some people are!

she's a beautiful dancer. But I can understand what Nigel was saying. I don't get to see the show, but from what he said it was a bit wrong that it sounded like her friend was very nice about her, but Nigel made it sound that Katee was not so nice about her friend. Saying that, editing on TV can make a nice person look very cruel.

I'd like to see this show, it looks very good. I admire dancers who combine it with emotion. Katee did a lovely job here.

Did you know the American Olympics men's gymnastic team is headed by a Chinese team captain who hails from Fremont? Yep. Saw that on KTSF news. Wonder if the team is any good....

great dance they did, don't have the show here in Korea. (well maybe on Sky but I don't have Sky (cable, whatever..)

the judges were harsh on her but it was probably a lesson she needed to learn ( in what to say in an interview/audience at the very least).

I kinda like her, and actually, I have to admit, I tend to like harsh mentors because I feel like they care more and though maybe they shouldn't always be so direct, what they're saying is kinda true for anyone who wants to succeed at something. And I like her b/c she's cares so much.

That was a great routine. Very fluid and in-time.

Katee reminding me of K Yamaguchi. The big teeth. The Asian look.
