    so we figured out the problem with my DVD-rom...  well, sort of... my computer came with two drives... one is a DVD-RW... and the other is a regular CD-rom... when I swapped out the new one that I got... I decided to keep the DVD-RW... but I don't know how or why... it was causing some problems... so we changed the DVD-RW back to the CD-rom... and now my new drive works... *scratches head* oh wells... as long as it is working, I can careless exactly how or why...  *shrugs*

    so tomorrow, I am ready to roll... gotta get things back to "normal"...

    hey, well i'm sure technology's a good field to go into, i dono you might want to try HK, if you have sufficient income  to survive the first few months of searching for jobs haha.  i understand how scary it could be though!

    The connectors (and computer) looking for one thing and something else was in its place. I hated setting up PCs in my heyday.

    Good thinking. I'd be sat scratching my head and hoping it fixed itself, computers are an alien world to me, I know how to get on the internet and that's about it!

    I haven't worked out the mysteries of the computer either
    it's going and that's what is important.
