sucks to be here... no, I'm not saying it sucks to be on AnD! hahaa... but it sucks to be here; like not being-able-to-be-in-Beijing here... hahaa...

I've been watching the Olympics and it just sucks to be here with the time difference. Go online to Google; see the cute Olympic Google Logos, click on it and you see the up-to-date results and medal count. Go to NBC website for the tv listing of events and you see the up-to-date results and medal count. Pick up the Sing Tao newspaper for my grandma and the headlines is the Olympics with the up-to-date results and medal count.

well at least during primetime, NBC broadcasts some events LIVE... these nights of late night sleeping and early rising is making me take naps in the afternoon... hahaa... not good... but it'll only be for these two weeks... hahaa... I'm looking forward to more diving, gymnastics, swimming, volleyball, table tennis, and everything else... hahaa...

Yeah the Olympics are cool. I've been trying to follow the USA basketball team, hope they can bring home the gold this year.

Managed to watch all 3 diving events live so far & China won ALL 3 GOLD MEDALS! Sucks that I miss some of the other games while stuck at work during the day. Agreed with Joanne Sanderson below, BBC is not bad but they tend to like showing the Brits only in the highlights if anyone missed the live coverage.

yeah it's on at awkard times, usually morning until 4pm with us, so it's right in the middle of work hours. I've seen a few events, the Gymnastics, Boxing and diving was great, and I got to see some of the women's basketball, and some of the soccer. I think BBC is a bit better with the coverage, and it gives us the interactive option of choosing between five other screens of events.

The afternoons they fill with the "not-so-popular" sports, like water polo on Sunday. Wonder what will be the fillers for the weekdays - table tennis? handball? wrestling? weight-lifting? (?).
