Before I get into the subject of this blog... I saw this on TV today... two skateboarders went on a 850-mile trip from Chicago to New York on their skateboards!!!~ that's amazing...

The thing called *money* is something we all need to a different extent. And we use it for different things. Some people have tons of it (and don't know how to use it) and some people are just barely making enough to live... and some people think money is equal to power. That's where it all goes wrong; people using money to overpower the weak.

Yesterday I received a phone call on my cell phone with an unfamiliar number and I was thinking should I answer or should I not? well I answered. AHHH!!!!!!!~ it was my past client! The most recent client that I blabbed about on my blogs... I stayed calm and listened to what she had to say... well, she sold off her company and she is no longer taking care of it anymore. (okay...) Well, the reason for her calling was that she asked me to help her setup a new email account b/c she said she wants to stop people from emailing her about the company or whatever (and apparently she said she gets a lot of "nasty emails" which we call spam mail!)

At first I wasn't too sure what she was asking; I thought she wanted me to change the email address on her website. (so I immediately thought, why call me, the company isn't even your's anymore) well it wasn't what I thought. She just wants me to help her setup a new HOTMAIL account. And she said something like, "I don't want to trouble my friends, so I will pay you for your time to help me setup the new email account. Just let me know what you charge." But seriously, I don't want to deal with her anymore! And is she serious that she's paying someone to setup the email for her when it only takes a few minutes or less to do so. What is wrong with her?

What's next? Does she expect me to help her write / respond to her emails? I don't think so!

I told her I don't have time to do that for her. And she said, "Really? It doesn't take that long right?" HUH? then why can't you do it yourself????????? *argh*

OMG how hard is it to set up an email account. Just read and follow the steps. You did the right thing by telling her you didn't have time. It's not even about the money at this point, it's the headache of dealing with someone like her. Maybe she should go buy a clue :P

I agree with you, something tells me that after you set her up on the account she may of wanted more and more. You're right about money too.

I looked at the skateboarders story. I hope they make it to NY this month, it's an amazingly hard journey they are on.

I couldn't help but wonder how does people like this get by? I mean they are everywhere sharing the air and precious space with us and I can barely survive being the decent human being I know how....You're doing the right thing Jane, being around her probably will bring you negative energy and nothing else.....Btw, the fact that she doesn't know how to set up a simple account bother me the least...just how she think she's so superior over everyone else from the way she asked you. Even she's paying for the service, whatever happen to manner right?
