  • Holiday Party

    Last Saturday was my company party. This year it was held again in the M. H. de Young Memorial Museum in Golden Gate Park.

    We had a good turnout. When I joined the agency about 4 years ago, we were about 60-ish peeps, now we've grown to 240 peeps. What was strange about this years party is that I didn't seem to recognize that many people. A lot of people that were annual attendees decided not to go this year, leaving a lot of the new-bies. But anyhow, it was a fun night out with free food and drinks.

    We didn't win anything this year. :( I really wanted to win a camera, but we didn't have the right stuff with us. What stuff? Well, for the last 3 years, our CEO redeems his AMEX points for gifts and then gives them out to the party-goers. He'd ask to see who would have certain items within their possession, i.e...condom, stamps, foreign currency, etc... Last year, the wifey had medicine in her bag and won a $100 Crate and Barrel Gift Card. No such luck this year.

    Nice that you get to attend a real party with a chnace to win prizes.  I work for a small company and we had some cheesy gathering at my boss's house.

    Glad you had fun at the party. I get flushed too with alcohol. AC didn't drink or does she remain her usual color?haha.

    I haven't even set foot in the new Deyoung yet. I really oughtta.
