This is crazy, I received this via email. I am so afraid of heights. I think the photos are takin in China. These pix reminded me of the time when we backpacked Upper Falls in Yosemite. The group ventured out to the edge to look down the falls. I have a photo of me looking terrified...and I was!!! That same day, we found out that another hiker did the same that same day, but unfortunately fell...I don't remember if he made it or not...more leaning towards not. Anyway, we saw the rangers "run-hike" up the trail in a couple of hours. We did it in about 7 hours with full packs. It was so grueling. There is one part where it's an uphill stretch that is all sand and virtually impossible with a full pack. So, we had one guys take his pack off and run up the slope (probably about 10 feet high, I think) and then one by one, he pulled us up. We stayed 2 nights on top which was nice as nobody was around us. So, on the way down, my knees took a pounding as the switchbacks were many and brutal. It was tough in that, you'd have momentum, which took a toll on the knees pounding and if we tried to slow down, our legs (quads) were getting fatigued (think skiiing moguls all day, then taking that lunch break and doing moguls again where the legs say, "Nope...no more!!!"). Anyway, overall it was a fun trip. But the photos below are nuts...

That last pic reminds me of the cable car ride my mom and I took to see the Buddha Statue on Lantau Island in HK. I was a bit intimidated at first, but it wasn't so bad.
