What a crazy 7 days

Finally some breathing time. It's been such a crazy 7 days. With so much going on recently, i've been tired and can't focus on anything...work and home. I usually take some pride in myself to not get affected...stress-wise....but it crept up slowly this week. Here's why...

Last Friday - Bathroom remodel talk became action...needed to quickly design our new bathroom since our contractor had time to work on it. We needed a new bathroom ever since moving almost 5 years ago. Faucets leak, grout cracks, corroded sinks...yuck. So, design/research at night and weekend trips to home improvement places. Same day, found out a close friend who had a baby had some post-birth complications and required emergency surgery and lengthy hospital stay. Then that night, called my cousin-in-law about a fishing trip and he tells me that my uncle was hit by a car and died.

Weekend - Bathroom...Bathroom...Bathroom

Monday - Work, much of which I couldn't focus. Worked out bathroom estimates...$$$ getting higher and higher

Tuesday - Took day off because our son needed to have surgery to cauterize his other nostril due to excessive nosebleed. They needed to put him under and laser it. I couldn't stop worrying, not only for his nose, but that he couldn't eat or drink anything (no water) until after the surgery...so he went without food and water from 9pm Monday to 4pm Tuesday!!!

Wednesday - Uncle's funeral in AM, then back to work and bathroom research. Contractor visits at night for planning and such....Bathroom budget definitely over $$$!!! Contemplating a new job to pay for all this...seriously!!!

Thursday - Finally calming down as we've settled on our bathroom plans...work begins tomorrow!!!
